DoulaMatch.net Terms of Use
For the Consumer (expectant families):
DoulaMatch.net does not screen or endorse the doulas listed on this site.
DoulaMatch.net does not certify or verify the credentials, experience,
cerfications, or qualifications of doulas listed on this web site.
Consumers are advised to independently verify all credentials and conduct
interviews with doulas before hiring them, including contacting certification
organizations to verify that certifications are still current.
DoulaMatch.net is not responsible or liable for any adverse or unexpected
consequences of hiring a doula.
For the Doula:
DoulaMatch.net will initially be free of charge for all doulas. At a date
to be determined, DoulaMatch.net will
convert to a paid service. The subscription fee schedule is yet to be
finalized. At such time that the site becomes a paid site, doulas will
have one month to decide whether to register a paid subscription and new
registrants will be eligible for a three month free trial subscription.
DoulaMatch.net is initially targeted only at the US and Canada.
The site will undergo periodic maintenance that will take the site offline
(unavailable). Maintenance downtime is expected to be less than one hour
per week. If extended downtime is required, registered doulas will be
notified via email.
DoulaMatch.net is not responsible for any perceived downtime that is the result
of your lack of internet connectivity due to a failure at your internet service
provider, local area network, or other internet equipment specific to your
client installation.
No compensation will be provided for unplanned downtime of less than one day.
Subscription extensions will be granted on a day-for-day basis for any unplanned
downtime in excess of one day and less than one week. Pro-rated refunds
will be provided on a week-for-week basis (rounding up) for any downtime in
excess of one week.
DoulaMatch.net intends to purchase internet advertising of the site. This
will be subject to budget constraints.
DoulaMatch.net will promote the site to health care providers in the Seattle
area. As the site grows, we will look for partners in other metropolitan
areas to promote the site to providers in other markets. Contact us if you
are interested in this.
We will listen to you and continue to improve the site over time. While we
can't implement all of your suggestions, but we are committed to this being a
site tailored to the needs of the doula.
